Northeastern Oklahoma Woodturners Association presents: Kirk DeHeer

The Northeastern Oklahoma Woodturners Association (NEOWTA) is excited to welcome Kirk DeHeer for a special event at their chapter facility in Tulsa, OK. Kirk has taught at many woodturning chapters and schools around the United States. He emphasizes fundamentals, sharpening, and tool techniques that give students a firm foundation on which to build their skills.
Kirk will be doing one demonstration and three classes with NEOWTA.
Demonstration Details:
8:30am – 3:30pm on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
$35 for NEOWTA members or $50 for NEOWTA non-members
Lunch is included.
Demonstration Topics:
Tool techniques for turning a calabash bowl
Tornado salt or pepper shaker
Demystifying hand thread chasing
Additional topics may be covered (time permitting)
Woodturning Class Details:
8:30am – 3:30pm on July 21, 22, and 23, 2024
$110 per day for NEOWTA members or $150 per day for non-members.
Lunch is not included.
Class size limited to 9 turners. Classes must be pre-paid. No refunds.
