I am a woodturning artist, demonstrator, passionate teacher and private instructor. Excited about the creative process and exploring the quest for clean lines and “pure” curves. I enjoy turning all styles of pieces- anything from pens, peppermills, fitted-lid boxes, utilitarian bowls and serving utensils, to sculptural one-of-a-kinds!
I enjoy embellishing my artistic pieces with colors, textures, and sculpting. Embellishing is a fun and sometimes risky, but extremely rewarding method of adding my creative voice to each piece, however the most important goal is achieving a pleasing form.
In addition to exploring my own creative voice, I also am very passionate about sharing the journey with others. Teaching and demonstrating woodturning techniques allows me to share what I have learned and allows a dialogue with others to stir our creative juices.
