What’s Happening at Other Chapters

The Northwest Woodturners in Beaverton, Oregon are not meeting in July. Their annual picnic and wood auction will be held on August 3rd.

The Southwest Idaho Woodturners will be meeting on July 9th. The program has not yet been announced. They are also having a study session on the 13th on one and two-piece goblets.

The Seattle Woodturners next meeting is on July 11th. This month is a mini-symposium.

The Fraser Valley Woodturners Guild in Abbotsford, B.C. are taking July and August off. They will meet again in September.

The Willamette Valley Woodturners in Salem, Oregon will be meeting on July 11th. Ron Gerton will be demonstrating strobe light turning. They are also hosting SPSW member Eric Lofstrom for an all day demo on the 12th.

The Southwest Idaho Woodturners have a study session scheduled for July 13th. The topic is one and two-piece goblets.

The Northwest Washington Woodturners are meeting on July 18th. SPSW member Eric Lofstrom will be demonstrating. Eric will also be conducting classes on thd 19th and 20th.

The Cascade Woodturners are meeting on July 27th for their annual picnic.

The Island Woodturners Guild on Vancouver Island are also taking July and August off.

The Greater Vancouver Woodturners Guild in Vancouver, B.C. are also taking July and August off.

The Olympic Peninsula Woodturners will be meeting on July 31st. The program for the evening has not yet been announced.

The Woodturners of Olympia holding their sixth annual symposium on July 27th. Demonstrators are John Jordan and Jack Wayne. Get more info at their symposium page.
