Donation Opportunity From Altrusa Gig Harbor
Hi fellow SPSW members,
We received this request from Altrusa Gig Harbor. We had a more organized empty bowls project last year, but President Kathy Garlick thought we could send this out to our members in case anyone has an extra bowl or two they would like to donate.
"Hello, I am contacting you on behalf of Altrusa Gig Harbor. We are preparing for our 9th Annual Empty Bowls on March 2nd. And we asking if any of your members have bowls they would like to donate to our cause? All proceeds go toward nonprofits in our area who work in food relief. Last year we were able to donate $39,000 to the food banks, after school programs, and Harbor Hope (young adult housing). Your donations would surely help us.
