We just received word that one of the SPSW members who attended Saturday’s Sawdust has since developed symptoms and has tested positive for COVID-19. He did not attend the general membership meeting.
The CDC states that anyone who may have been exposed to someone with COVID should test five days after their exposure, or as soon as symptoms occur. "If symptoms occur, individuals should immediately quarantine until a negative test confirms symptoms are not attributable to COVID-19."
Further and more detailed recommendations can be found on both the CDC and Washington Department of health websites.
The day of exposure is considered day 0 and the next day after you are exposed is counted as day 1. Therefore, the 5th day after the Sawdust Session will be on Thursday the 28th.
This notice is going out to all SPSW members, because we do not have a list of new members and guests who may have attended the Sawdust Session, so if you brought someone with you, please ensure that those people are notified of this possible COVID exposure.
Best wishes and we all hope no one else catches this!
