Hi , here is an update from President John Howard on this month's virtual demonstration by Emiliano Achaval on Thursday and the practice session tomorrow. Please make sure to use this info to log into both sessions. Also attached are handouts from Emiliano.

For those of you that may be unsure about how to use Zoom, I assure you it is really easy! But if you want to “check it out” before the actual meeting, please try the practice session that Ramon and I will host on Wednesday May 20 th at 7:00 PM.

This month’s demonstrator, Emiliano Achaval, has offered to help us with this practice session. So, in addition to getting any Zoom related questions answered, you will be able to meet Emiliano and check to ensure that you will be able to log into Thursday night’s meeting. Please just click on the meeting link below on Wednesday night at 7:00.

By the way, that same link will be used for both the practice session and the actual demonstration on Wednesday at 7:00 PM, and the regular meeting on Thursday.

You will need to download the Zoom Meeting’s app on the device you will use to participate. You can either log into zoom.com to download the app, or if you haven’t already loaded it, you can just click on the link above, and it will take you to the zoom site. In either case, just follow the directions to download the zoom meetings app. Just join at the most basic free level. The device you will use to participate in the demo can be a desk top, lap top, tablet computer, or smart phone. It is best if it has a camera, microphone and speaker, so you can both see and hear. But you can even use a regular telephone, to join the meeting, if all you want is the audio. But, the video and audio capability allow you to enjoy the full experience.
